Dr Rodney Foale
Dr. Rodney Foale is a Melbourne University graduate trained in cardiology in London and at Harvard. He became a consultant cardiologist at St Mary’s Hospital in 1985, pioneering coronary angioplasty and innovative teaching. He later directed surgery and cardiovascular sciences, focusing on merging NHS services and advancing research in coronary flow physiology.

Professor Peter Sever
Professor Sever is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at Imperial College London and an Honorary Consultant Physician. He has a distinguished career in cardiovascular research, focusing on hypertension and vascular disease. Prof Sever has served in editorial roles for prominent journals and received notable awards, including the Astra-Zeneca Award. His current research includes evaluating anti-hypertensive therapies and studying environmental influences on blood pressure.

Professor Ramzi Khamis
Professor Ramzi Khamis is a Professor of Cardiology at Imperial College London and a consultant in interventional cardiology. He leads several clinics and is Clinical Director for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Professor Khamis has extensive training in cardiology, and focuses on atherosclerosis research, developing imaging strategies and biomarkers. He has received multiple awards for his research and contributed to COVID-19 response efforts, now working on recoverina cardiac services.

Dr Rasha Al-Lamee
Dr Rasha Al-Lamee is an Clinical Academic Interventional Cardiology Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Her research interests are complex coronary intervention, coronary physiology and invasive intravascular assessment. She designed, conducted and led the ORBITA and ORBITA-2 trials published in the Lancet and New England Journal of Medicine. With over 150 peer-reviewed publications, she also is a deputy editor at JACC and EuroIntervention. She is the NIHR CRN North West London Cardiovascular speciality lead and co-head of the cardiovascular theme of the Imperial Biomedical Research Centre. She is head of the second year (Phase 1b) and a Deputy Director of Medicine at Imperial College London.

Dr Zachary Whinnett
Professor Zachary Whinnett is a Consultant Cardiologist at Imperial College NHS Trust, specializing in pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and cardiac electrophysiology. An internationally recognized expert, he leads research on implantable cardiac devices and is chief investigator for major trials in pacing. He has developed innovative methods for assessing haemodynamic status in devices and has a strong record of research funding and publication. Additionally, he heads the Cardiovascular Trials and Epidemiology Section and the Peart Rose Research Unit, while also training cardiologists globally in advanced pacing techniques.

Mr Bob Bailey
Bob spent over 40 years in the accounting profession dealing with corporate restructuring, both in the UK and overseas. He spent two years in Indonesia during the economic crisis across Asia heading up the PwC practice before returning to London. During his career he has dealt with a vast range of businesses, from textile to retail, manufacturing and even a gold mine in Greenland where he became the CEO!
