The St Mary's Hospital Coronary Flow Trust (CFT) is dedicated to advancing research into cardiovascular health. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death globally, but despite this it receives less than 7% of public and charity research funding in the UK.

 

The CFT primarily focuses on providing Cardiology junior doctors with support for their early research careers as well as contributing towards impactful larger bodies of cardiovascular research work.

The many publications and awards won by our sponsored researchers, attest to the success of this programme.

Our offices are based at the St Mary’s and Hammersmith Hospitals in London.
